I don't have any pictures of Johan Adam Martin. Johan left Schondra Germany around 1839, along with his wife Elizabeth "Spahn" and son Bonaventure. They arrived in New York and made their way to Hamilton Co., Ohio, where he worked as a farmhand and Elizabeth was a housekeeper. There they had 2 more sons "John M and Andrew", After the birth of Andrew they moved to St Wendel, IN. That's where their 4th child Mary was born in 1846.

John M. Martin was born in Ohio, but grew up in St Wendel on his dad's farm off of Boonville New Harmany Rd. John married and started his own farm on Buente Rd., He farmed there until the day he died. His son Andrew took over the farm.
